Each spring, Donate Life NC recognizes the top stations in each district for the highest percentage of donor registrations and the biggest improvement in registration numbers.

The winners for Highest Increase are:
District 1--New Bern, .3%
District 2--Elizabethtown, 3.87%
District 3--Oxford, 4%
District 4--Siler City, 2.6%
District 5--Kernersville, 3.8%
District 6--Lincolnton, 2.2%
District 7--Clyde, 1.5%
The winners for Highest Rate by District are:
District 1--Morehead City, 75.8%
District 2--Wilmington North, 65.1%
District 3--Fuquay Varina, 57.8%
District 4--Carrboro, 59.1%
District 5--Boone, 70.3%
District 6--Mooresville, 60.4%
District 7--Brevard, 66.9%
And, the team Morehead City took the statewide prize for the third year in a row with a fantastic 75.8% sign-up rate. Lastly, the Asheville West office registered the most donors--16,069!
In 2023, our friends at the DMV issued 2,152,293 licenses and identification cards (422,938 more than last year!) with an overall ADD rate of 52.6%. Thanks to the efforts of the NC DMV, there are now more than 5,531,377 registered donors in the Old North State!
