Donate Life North Carolina is delighted to announce our first High School Art Contest to help raise awareness about organ, eye and tissue donation. High school students from across the state are invited to share their creative gifts by designing an original artwork depicting this year’s theme:
BEE a lifesaver! Register as an organ, eye and tissue donor.
The first place winner will have their artwork featured as the 2022 Donate Life NC holiday card. Each participant will receive a Donate Life swag bag, and the winner will also receive a $25 Amazon gift card and a pack of holiday cards of their design to send out this holiday season..
Art submitted by April 20 will be eligible for show at the 2022 Gift of Life Gala: heART of the Matter in Cary, NC.
There are more than 100,000 people waiting for a life-saving organ transplant across the United States. 1,900 of those waiting are children. Just one donor can save up to 8 lives through organ donation and heal another 75 through tissue donation. You can be a beacon of hope by registering as an organ donor and sharing your decision with your family and friends. Learn more about the impact of donation.
Deadline April 30, 2022
Submissions should include a high-quality scan of the artwork (or the art file if the work is digitally created), the student's name and high school. By submitting a work, you are giving Donate Life NC permission to use it with appropriate credit given to the artist.
